SFTP

Receive and send files containing sensitive data through PCI Proxy from and to third-parties.

PCI Proxy offers secure transmission of files containing sensitive cardholder data between you and a third-party server. Typical use cases for merchants could be:

  • run batch processes for reconciliation
  • payments (e.g. HOT files)
  • update cards with non-compliant third-party providers

Get set up

Get in touch with us to set up a SFTP connection. Generally, we will work with you to determine

  • the file type and data formats you are sending
  • whether you are sending the file or does PCI Proxy access the files
  • the right IP addresses and TCP ports
  • SSH keys and usernames for the connection
  • the directories where the files need to be uploaded to or downloaded from

🚧

Businesses that are sending/receiving sensitive cardholder data in plain text format must be PCI DSS compliant.
